Rod McCall and Mike Griffin of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (the Technical Coordinator) presented the TARGET project to The International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS) conference on 4-6 December 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine. TIEMS, founded in 1993, is a global forum for education, training and certification in emergency and disaster management with 10 chapters worldwide.
TARGET was present at the annual European Police College (CEPOL) conference in Budapest, Hungary on 28-30 November 2017. Lola Valles, Research Responsible and Alicia Moriana, Head of Catalan Police School, and Marine Lechenault from ENSP presented on the following topic: Which educational innovations will have significant impact on the training and education of law enforcement officials on the various levels of the organisations – and why? The theme of this year's conference was "Innovation" and convened practitioners in policing and other areas of law enforcement, trainers, educators and scientific scholars from Europe and the international sphere.
The TARGET Public Workshop took place at the Radisson Blu Olümpia in Tallinn, Estonia on 14-15 November 2017. TARGET partners were joined by related research projects and initiatives
The TC3 Trial "Response to a massive cyber-attack on the infrastructure of an energy grid" took place in Hartlepool, UK on 25-27 October 2017. The Cleveland Fire Brigade hosted 3 TARGET Partners (LIST, IVI and ARTTIC) for the 3 day exercise. Thanks to CFB for their fantastic organisation, and to the students and trainers who made the training a success!

The TC4 Trial "Tactical firearms vignettes" took place in Mollet del Vallès, a suburb of Barcelona, Spain on 10-11 October 2017.
The TC5 Trial "Arrest of suspects after their car crash" took place in Saint Cyr au Mont d'Or, a suburb of Lyon, France on 3-5 October 2017.
